The framing

    Recovery is a clinical variable.

Recovery and performance go hand in hand. We manage recovery as a clinical variable using WHOOP to track sleep, strain, heart rate variability, and recovery scoring — the same metrics that guide training and fitness decisions.

Recovery Management is one way patients enter the Longitude Sports Medicine program. Most patients here are not injured — they are training and under-recovering. Sleep, training load, and recovery scores are reviewed by the clinical team against your plan of care and adjusted month to month, with the same physician-led team guiding every phase.

    Partnerships

    Two partnerships, built for recovery.

Your prescription payment is the membership. WHOOP One and FitnessOnDemand are provided free to patients for one full year. No separate membership fee, no add-on cost, no equipment fee.

    WHOOP One

    Free for one year

    Your health tracker

Recovery is only manageable if it is measured. WHOOP One supplies the sleep architecture, heart rate variability, and cycle-phase context our clinical team uses to adjust your recovery plan month to month, rather than guessing from how you say you feel.

    • Advanced sleep tracking

Deep sleep, REM, and wake timing — showing exactly how your body heals and recovers overnight.

    • Heart health and fitness

Cardiovascular fitness and heart rate zones, so endurance can be tracked through rehabilitation and training.

    • Women's health insights

Tracks changes across the menstrual cycle to contextualize energy, metabolism, and individual health patterns.

    • Direct clinical updates

A clean daily summary reaches our clinical team each morning — the big picture, without second-by-second surveillance.

    FitnessOnDemand

    Free for one year

    Training, nutrition, and recovery content

Recovery is behavioral as much as clinical. FitnessOnDemand supplies guided meditation and sleep content, breathwork, stretching, and mobility work to support the plan between check-ins.

    • On-demand video library

Over 1,800 videos spanning active aging, cardio, circuits, core, cycling, dance, elliptical, HIIT, joint/stress/pain relief, kickboxing, meditation and breath, nutrition, rowing, strength, stretching, treadmill, wellness, yoga/barre/pilates, and youth.
